Following his service as an Indian Army Ex-Serviceman in the 19th Guards Regiment (Brigade of the Guards), Kamal Timung recognized a critical gap in the private guarding sector: standard commercial deployments often lacked rigorous supervision, physical standards, and military-grade accountability.
To address this need, he established a local security enterprise that grew over a decade to manage critical, high-density guarding deployments across industrial power plants, steel facilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects—protecting workforce populations of over 3,500 personnel at single sites.
Building upon this rich 16+ year operational legacy, Prabhat Timung founded Grok Security to elevate modern B2B security standards across Assam and the North-East.
